Grilled Sirloin Steak with Bell Peppers and Gorgonzola


1.25 pounds sirloin steak

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 white onion sliced

1 red bell pepper cored, seeded and sliced

1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese

1/4 cup Italian parsley chopped

1 green bell pepper cored, seeded and sliced

coarse salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste


Preheat grill to medium heat.
Season steaks with salt and pepper and let stand at room temperature until ready to grill.
Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, and bell peppers and sautée 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Keep at a bare simmer over very low heat.
Grill steaks until cooked as desired, about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer steaks to platter and let stand 5 minutes. Slice steaks; arrange on platter. Top with vegetables and skillet juices. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley and serve.
