Chicken Souvlaki with Greek Yogurt Dip

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 2 inch chunks

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup dry white wine

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried oregano

2 teaspoons garlic, minced divided

1 teaspoon coarse salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper divided

1/2 English cucumber coarsely shredded

1.75 cups Greek yogurt

2 teaspoons white vinegar

8 12-inch bamboo skewerss soaked

Preheat grill to medium high or preheat the broiler.

Mix chicken, oil, wine, lemon juice, oregano, half the garlic, salt, and half the pepper in a large bowl. Thread chicken onto skewers.

Grill chicken, turning occasionally, until grill marks appear and meat is cooked through, 10 to 12 minutes.

Ingredients

4 6-inch pita pockets

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon coarse salt

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Halve pitas horizontally and lightly brush rough sides with oil. Season pitas with salt and cut each round into wedges.
