Ingredients
- SUN-DRIED TOMATO BUTTER
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes (not oil packed) minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- STEAK
- 4 beef tenderloin filets (4-ounces each)
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium heat
- To make butter, in a small bowl, mash together butter, tomatoes, basil and garlic until blended. Season with salt. Mound butter mixture onto plastic wrap and roll it around the butter, forming a tight cylinder. Chill until firm.
- Grill steaks, covered for 812 minutes, turning once for medium-rare; cook longer, if desired. Tent with foil, and rest 5 minutes. Serve steaks topped with sun-dried tomato butter.
